number15's fantasy JAYS to Royals final offer
Posted: Sun Dec 12, 2010 6:37 pm
- (SP) Kyle Drabek
- (SS) Adony Hechevarria
for
- (SP) Zach Greinke
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
***** the real issue is controlability here. Thats why Royals wanna deal Greinke rite, cause he will need a big deal soon. Well Drabek is locked for a while in terms of controlablity and is a top prospect. Hechavarria is a top prospect who can be parted by JAYS because of Yunel Escobar.
Royals r tied up because Greinke is rumored to not wanna play for any of the top baseball markets, like NY and Boston for example...... also i think his no trade power expands next season, so then they r really screwed. He is not gonna take a deal KC offers (in terms of $) anyway, so they will lose him in a desperation trade eventually
you can forget about Drabek+Snider....... maybe if Greinke was athe reining Cy Young champ.... but not now. Its too risky..... a risk with a huge prize, but remember, it can end very badly for Toronto too. Roy Halladay was traded for less even after he had agreed to resign with Philly before the trade
