He'll be a warm body for Spring Training, I guess. If asked to come up with two positives about his game, I'd state that his fastball is fast indeed (average velocity of 94.5 for his career) and he is terrible at baseball. So, it turns out there's only one positive to his game, and because his fastball statistically stands at 18.9 runs below average career and -0.79 runs/100 pitches, even that is faint praise.

Because I have slagged him so, he'll save 40 with a 1.31 ERA. Just. You. Watch.

Looks like a clear case of command = success. Those BB/9 numbers are worse than most pitchers had when I played in pee-wee baseball.

I was the Jamie Moyer of pee-wee baseball (No I wasn't 27 years old). I had no velocity but I was accurate enough to get by.
