If Jose Bautista cant repeat last seasons success, which is very possible................... he will be embarassed after the swag he showed.

especially in New York...... the season will become a joke (for him) and people will laugh. because he should so much confidence last season. The NY papers will have a field day.

i mean he had one amazing season and showed more swagger than Alex Rodriguez......

lets see how it will end.

either he embarrasses himself, or proves everyone wrong

because he has alot to prove still

Jo-Bau has shown to me at least that repeating what he did last season should not be a huge problem. You may see a slight drop-off as pitchers will surely challenge him differently, but he should be fine. His numbers started to skyrocket once the adjustments were made to his swing going back to September 09'. Last year was not a fluke ala Brady Anderson, Jose's power is legit. He is approaching arbitration = good season.

The concerns for the Jays shouldn't be on Bautista, rather Hill and Lind getting back to what they did in 09' and here is to hoping V-Dub can repeat his productivity of last season with a higher batting average.

Whatever happens, I don't think Bautista is going to be worrying that much about the New York media.

The swag he showed versus the Yankees was due more to the fact that he got thrown at twice more than "look at me".

Don't understand what you're getting at. It's do or die time for him to get his big contract. Nothing else.

And he will hit 30-35.
