The Angels have agreed to send Mike Napoli to the Blue Jays, pending a physical, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (on Twitter).

starting 1B, from everything i've heard, Alex is extremely confident in Lind at 1B. E5 is probably gonna be back up 3B and pinch hitter

Wow unbelievable, any more details yet? If it is Wells straight up for Napoli I like this deal.

I like Wells, but damn, if AA got out of that contract without having to absorb most of it, then he is freakin' awesome. My man crush for AA might be increasing.

One has to imagine the Jays paying part of Vernon's salary like they did Roy's.
They already gave him his big bonus for the coming season which covers a good part of this year's salary but damn, another $72 million to go after this season? I don't think anyone is crazy enough to do that trade unless the Jays are paying the overpayment - say, $10 million per season
