Last time I posted this on January 7th it was because we reached 2,000 topics, this time though we have passed the Cubs with 54542 posts making this the second most active forum in the MLB sections.

Thanks guys for making this not only an active forum but a great one. Let's pass the Brewers before the end of the season.

hoping for the best. but brewers will have a good season, their forum should be buzzing all season.

Brewers being #1 is surprising to me.. I thought for sure it would be BOS, NYY, CHC, or the LA teams.

They have a lot of dedicated Brewers fans there, and they usually have long game threads for each and every game of the season.

We started posting in 2007. We used to have long series threads on the Bucks board but when the new forums came in April 2007 I think it was all threads on the Bucks board related to the Brewers or Packers were locked so we pretty much had no choice but to post on the MLB and NFL boards if we wanted to discuss them.

If the goal is # of posts, I can take care of that over the weekend.

yeah this forum has really grown.. while the Brewers have more posts, it seems that we are posting at a higher rate recently, so who knows.. but if this team makes noise, the post counts will jump.

btw, big props to LittleOzzy.. you do an amazing job on promoting the Jays board.. you post great articles all the time, and you're always directing people from the Raps board to come here.. great job..

Surprised the Mariners are top 5.

You have to realize that teams like the Red Sox and Yankees have other well established online forums that are much more popular than this site. There's really no rhyme or reason why certain sites turn into the default home for a team's fans.

We together, you, me and the rest of the Mods are what make the forum great.
