Just heard on the Score post game show that Snider has been sent down.

edit: They also said Scott Podsednik will replace Snider on the roster.

What a **** joke. Seriously, AA has gone from miracle worker to completely lost his **** mind

I know he's not exactly tearing the league apart right now, but I don't see why they had to send him down...

I guess there's an extremely unlikely chance that AA brings up Eric Thames and Brett Lawrie to see what they can do (considering Woodward got sent down as well)

But other than that, there really isn't a reason.

He wasn't doing anything, it's the right move. I hope to see him back in 2 weeks or so. I really hate JP for rushing Snider. What a **** clown.

This is really disappointing. For one, I expected Snider to seize the opportunity, and he clearly hasn't. But for two, he wasn't given enough time to turn things around. We're still in April, after all, and look at the time they gave Rivera.

On the positive side, I hope this means they're bringing up Thames or Lawrie to get some regular time.

I have to say, I'm not too impressed with AA's roster management when faced with his first real bout of adversity, but I'll cut him some slack given how otherwise impressive he has been to this point.

This is so stupid he was just starting to get better for f@*% sakes and now you send him to AAA where he will learn what exactly???

And my greatest fear has come true, Scott Podsednik is going to be the starting LF for the Toronto Blue Jays at the expense of Travis Snider. It's even worse than starting Stewart/Wilkerson/Mench in 2008, because at least then we weren't blocking a guy with huge potential.

That said. What the **** is Reyes still doing with this club?

I have it figured out. AA's secret plan is to have a Pods/Patterson/Davis outfield. If Bautista misses any time due to the HBP, it may come to fruition

Davis and Pods are the likely call ups I think no point in sending a kid down just to bring up another one. AA's roster management has indeed been awful so far.

Why would you send down Snider? He has trouble hitting breaking balls. Breaking balls dont even break properly in Vegas cause of the intense heat.

What's he matter with you people, Snider isn't learning anything by getting his ass handed to him everyday at teh plate and in teh field. He's extremely low on confidence and that's affecting his ability to fix mechanical concerns with his swing. I'm not saying a AAA stint is gonna fix everything but i know playing him everyday and destroying him mentally isn't gonna fix anything either
