Who is the most popular athlete in Toronto?

Not your favourite, but the most popular.

Popular doesn't always mean 'most talented' or 'hottest/big year' and it seems from your list, that's how you comprised it; but I'm gonna say that I think the most popular athelete might be Johnny Mac, with DD and Bautista not far behind.

Didn't Bautista win the Star poll a few days ago with like 35% of the votes. Reimer came 2nd around 20%. Gotta say Jose.

There's not an athlete more popular in Toronto than Daniel Alfredsson.. He Owns the Leafs, and the fans know it, so they BOO him each and every time he touches the puck..

It has to be a Leafs player, but then again I don't think all the youths know hockey players. A more interesting debate would be who was more popular Vince Carter or Mats Sundin, in their prime years.
