Well he was like 6th or 7th on the depth chart for OFers if so I can't blame him for wanting his release.

I think they just have to pass Rivera. Patterson has really cemented himself in the lineup. He's no worse than the 4th OF for the rest of the year.
Wise is just org depth at this point.

That said, Patterson should have been organization depth, and yet here he is starting on this team while Snider is wasting away in LV.
