Apparently the Mets are open to trading him for salary relief and a lower tier prospect.

He's a free agent at the end of the season. He bolts after the season and we get a sexy draft pick that AA loves.

He's hitting really well this season and would add a much needed power bat to the lineup for the rest of the season and would be a upgrade over Davis in CF.

This team is 20-20 and actually looks like a solid team when healthy. I think aquiring this guy would be a pretty good move for the rest of the season. Show the fans that you want to win games this season and still rebuild at the same time.

Hes making 20 odd million this year. So jays wont be offering him arbitration, if they did acquire him. Hence, no draft pick.

has a clause in the contract preventing his team from offering arb according to Cots so no draft picks.

Wow, I can't believe he's a FA soon. It doesn't seem long ago when he signed that massive contract.
