Losing the DH for three series will actually be a benefit for the Jays unlike most AL teams. It's just one less scrub (E5, Rivera) they have to put in the lineup.

good point...unfortunately Jo Jo Reyes batting isn't going to be any better at batting either

Curious to see what they do with Lind the next couple weeks and interleague play. No rest day for Lind until next Thursday(jays day off). So do they consider his back healed and play him everyday until Thursday or give Rivera a start or 2 and have Lind on the bench for a few games? Tough call.

With no DH he might need a few rest days but it would be nice having a left handed bat coming in to pinch hit for once.

Probably that's why he's been DHing a lot. You can't take Lind out of the lineup.

Yeah, Lind's not going to come off the bench. He's got the 2nd highest wOBA in the AL.

They had to put Rivera in the lineup. He can actually hit right handed hitters.

Patterson in CF is going to be an adventure tonight. What a choice to make- take an ok bat in Patterson with bad defense or a bad bad with ok defense.

Tell me your joking about Rivera. This lineup is absolutely pathetic against RHs.

Juan Rivera has a .612 OPS vs. righties. What they need is Eric Thames/Travis Snider.

Yeah, he's throwing strikes and actually getting ground balls for a change. This Jo-Jo can stay.

no it doesn't matter what league they play in, any team with Votto, Bruce, Stubbs, Philips, Hernandez and Rolen is an excellent lineup

I'd have to agree to disagree with you here. You can't compare their line up to some of the_excellent_line ups in AL. That is just a statistical fact.
