Was just released by LA Angels. You think he's worth a look? He's only 27 still...

Age doesn't really matter; the issue is that he now throws 86 mph meatballs rather than 92 mph fastballs, and he was getting eaten alive in AAA. Not really worth a look.

Never got the hype with Kazmir. He's basically Ollie Perez 2.0

He was very good early in his career, when he could pitch off one of the better fastballs in the game. Deprived of that, he's never going to be major league quality...power pitchers who throw 86 mph aren't worth a damn.
