Excited to see Stewart pitch again!

Really excited to see how Stewart pitches his second go around. I like his pitch arsenal and mental approach.

Rajai Davis CF
Jayson Nix 3B
Ricky Romero P

Bautista with one home run in his last 70 ABs. I say he gets one this game.

Even with the Hill over Arencibia move, I like this lineup. No Rivera or Encarnacion is good. Nix is gross though - just seeing his name sickens me. Johnny Mac at 3rd base until Lowrie comes up. At least he gives us a plus glove, and can save runs, even if he can't drive them in.

Nothing to really report on right now. Both pitchers looking pretty good but Atlanta looks a little more likely to break through first.

Very similar to the first game against the Reds.

I wait for the day E5, Rivera, Davis, Patterson and Nix are all gone.

This team really needs some lefties in the lineup. Every game against right-handers is following almost the same pattern these days.

I think we just have to credit to Hudson...the guy is absolutely dealing tonight.

And Arroyo, Leake, Guthrie, Buchholz, and Hochevar? There is a fundamental problem with this lineup that could be easily solved by taking out the trash.

I thought giving up a game-winning HR to Miguel Cairo of all people was bad, but Tim Hudson? Damn this interleague nonsense.

To do list: Get rid of Davis, Patterson, Rivera, E5 ASAP.

I know the issues of this lineup and their ineffectiveness against righties but tonight Hudson has been fantastic. And to be fair to those other guys they are all very good pitchers who we happened to catch on one of their good days...it happens.

But yes, we do need some more lefties in the lineup and the bottom half of our lineup is pretty terrible and most of them will be gone by next year. We've known this all season long but not much we can do about it at this point.
