I know that Charlie Sheen and Steroids are two of the most overdone topics ever but I thought this was amusing

Actor Charlie Sheen tells Sports Illustrated in its latest issue that he took steroids "for like six or eight weeks" while filming the 1989 movie "Major League." He adds that the performance-enhancing drugs helped his fastball go from 79 mph to 85 mph.

I suppose it explains how 'the wild thing' became so dominant towards the end of the movie?

I honestly can't tell if that was supposed to be a joke or not.
