Shame it's on the holiday weekend, but I'll do my best to get out to the park.

Does anyone do daily papers anymore? I hardly work this early, so I'll do them today.

I need to post this somewhere.
According Greg Brady (in the morning show today that I caught briefly), a 35 year old carlos beltran is better than Jose Bautista (He didn't say this explicitly but implied it.) One of the reasons being, Beltran can hit for better average. I **** you not, Sometimes I feel like reaching through the radio and punch one of these FAN 590 hosts. The amount of ignorance regarding baseball is truly astounding.

I have a solution for you: no more fan590. I hadn't listened in 5 years, but I started commuting by car again about 3 months ago and I can't go back to listening to them. I tried it out when I started and they're all morons. Now, I still turn it on when something big happens; I turned it on yesterday for the Rasmus talk, but for day-to-day it's simply too (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to pay attention to.

IMHO, the Blue Jays will be at there best as soon as they can get this line-up on the field:

Escobar SS
Rasmus CF
Bautista RF
Lind LF
Lawrie 3B
Thames DF
Arencibia C
Snider LF
McDonald/Hill 2B

Tough pitching matchups for the Jays there.

Hopefully Rasmus, Bautista, and Lind come to play today. They were a combined 1 for 14 last night, but we still scored 8 runs :)

Just proves how balanced our offense can be. Imagine our team on a night when everyone's on. We can deal damage anywhere in the order excluding wherever Hill is batting.

I almost hope Rasmus is trying too hard right now.

Ogando made all three of those guys look bad there, not just Rasmus. He's a pretty damn good pitcher.

One thing I wonder every time I listen to Gord Stellick is: How did he ever become the GM of the Leafs?
