Like I said in the other thread, either this means they've given up on Snider or they've made another in a growing line of huge **** errors in his development.

LV will do NOTHING for Snider. This team needs to know if he is ever going to start hitting MLB pitching consistently.

Snider deserves this demotion. 1/30 BB/K rate since coming back? GTFO

WOW! I'm starting to feel bad for the kid Snider. Hopefully, he's able to turn it around sooner rather than later. Would hate to see the guy traded with the immense potential he possesses.

dumb move sending down Snider again.... after he performed so well, even if it temporarily and the fact JAYS have too many OF players...he could atleast be DH.... i mean is EE even in the long term plans? probably not.....

Have Snider/Thames switch between DH/LF for the season

AA should have dealt EE at the deadline to avoid this.

The problem is that Snider seems to get his timing right for a while, but they lapses. Currently, he's out in front of pitches. He needs to prove he can do certain things consistently, and right now, he's giving us long stretches of good and bad. The problem is that when he's bad, and he's playing with low average players like Hill and Arencibia, the bottom third sucks. Today, everyone below Lind went a collective 0-17 in the first nine innings. Arencibia had a pair of walks, no one else below Lind reached base through nine innings.

I've been a HUGE Travis Snider fan and I think he will be an exceptional player.... not the power hitting prospect we saw way back, but he will be a starting outfielder batting in the middle of the ine up one day.

I think the JAYS have reached a point where they are questioning his future on the team. This demotion was uncalled for. He was not playing like crap. He just had a slow spell, which all players get.... Jays refuse to let him learn from mistakes in the MLB

Free Snider.... trade him.... its better for both sides.. whos with me?

Didn't Someone (I think it was farrell, could be wrong) said that snider is going to be up for good now?

They should just shut up about things like that. It looks really dumb now.

snider has been horrible, but they should have traded him not ee in my opinion.

You don't trade a young kid like Snider with the amount of potential he possesses so early in his career.

I think his future is done in Toronto..... hopefully he explodes on some other team in 1-2 years. The guy is very young and the potential is huge

JAYS are too impatient with him... never shoulda been in the Majors that early in the first place and now that he is here, they shoulda let him learn from mistakes

the last send down was warranted... this is ridiculous

I wanted Thames sent down between the 2. At least it's Lawrie time. This snider situation is becoming really unfortunate though.

I'm honestly not sure at this point. What is he learning up here? How to strike out?

I don't think they should have called him up the last time. Sure he had a decent avg, but he wasn't hitting for power at all...very few xtra base hits. Really didn't look like he had figured his swing out again.

Send him down, once he starts hitting doubles into the gap...then call him back up. But as long as he's hitting singles, keep'em down there.

At the time he said that, I don't think Farrell could've predicted us getting another young outfielder for peanuts. Snider in triple-AAA makes some sense; it's better for the 23-year old to get AB's (especially while in a funk) then be in a platoon spot with Thames/Bautista/Rasmus/Davis.

Davis is far more effective for us as a bench player than Snider would be right now. Though Rajai hasn't been seeing the ball well either, what the guy can do on the basepaths is something Snider can't compete with.

I wouldn't bring Snider up again until he regains his HR stroke. I don't want him to be a slap single/doubles hitter who strikes out a tonne. He has legitimate 40HR+ power.
