Osuna and becerra were ranked 4th and 5th. AA doing work. Two others were in the 20s.

Too bad most of the people who cried about not being able to sign Beede won't notice this at all.

We better not have paid $3 million for Osuna.

The International market, if exploited properly, can be a great pipeline for talent. Those players are not as likely to pan out as talent available via the amateur draft, but stockpile enough of them and you can get a Delgado or Fernandez or Escobar in that group. I am glad AA is going overslot in the draft and using the Intl market. May not make a noticeable impact right away, but a few years down the line it may become very beneficial.

They were going to sign these guys regardless of whether or not they signed Beede, though.

On PTS yesterday Blair and Wilner were raving about Osuna. Almost going over-the-top about how good this kid is. Not sure how much they know, but the interview with Marco Paddy was interesting.
