Romero Pitcher of the Month for August

A 5-0 record and an American League-leading 2.05 ERA in August gave Ricky Romero his first career Pitcher of the Month Award on Tuesday, while Cliff Lee of the Phillies took home his fifth monthly award -- his second in the National League.
Lee becomes the first Phillies pitcher to win the monthly award twice in the same season, also winning it in June. He accomplished the two-for feat once previously, winning the award in April and August of 2008 when he was with the Indians. Lee also took the award home in June of last year when he was with the Mariners.
Like Romero, Lee was also a perfect 5-0 last month, and Lee had a phenomenal 0.45 ERA -- the lowest among qualifying Major League starters -- after allowing just two earned runs over 39 2/3 innings pitched. That's following a June performance where Lee went 5-0 with a 0.21 ERA in June, making him the first pitcher in Major League history to have two months in one season with at least five wins, zero losses and an ERA less than 0.50.

Romero is the only pitcher (I know some are big fans of Morrow here, but to me he is still too inconsistent) that we have which I feel we will always have a chance in a game.

It's great to see Romero getting some more personal accomplishments. He really has been great in all his starts recently (except that yankee game) and our only consistent pitcher so I'm happy he's getting some personal accolades. The main thing we need from him is to start getting performing well against the red sox and the yankees.

I must be missing something. I thought Romero went 6-0 in august?
Over those 6 starts he walked 16 batter's, his numbers should only get better if he improves on the walks.
He is currently 5th worst among starters for walks allowed.
edit: ah he wasn't credited with the win against the royals, so it was indeed 5-0
