Who Do You Want To See in a Jays Uniform Next Season?
Wouldn't mind seeing any of these guys on the Blue Jays next season but if I had to pick a pitcher, closer and bat, I'd go with C.J. Wilson, Jonathan Paplebon and Joey Votto.
Want: Trae Young, Michael Porter Jr., DeAndre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr, Marvin Bagley III, Mohamad Bamba, Shai Gilgeous- Alexander, Elie Okobo, Jevon Carter

Re: Who Do You Want To See in a Jays Uniform Next Season?
I'm totally on the Fielder bandwagon. I think that the team has more young arms than bats coming up in the system so it just makes more sense to invest in a hitter. As a sidebar a lot of people are worried about Fielder's body breaking down at the tail end of his next deal, and while this is definitely a valid concern I think it's important to point out that he's only 27 and he's been remarkably healthy in his career. The guy has averaged about 160 games per season excluding his 39 game tryout in 2005. That's a great track record of durability for any player not named Ripken.

Voted Pujols and Wilson, would also like Madson, Hanrahan and Adams for relief pitchers.
If we can't sign Johnson , Scutaro at 2nd would be my next choice.
We could also use a lefty arm out of the pen, something Cecil would do well with if we decide hes no longer a starter because his splits vs lefties are really good.

Any of the premium 1B would be great, then use prospects/ spare pieces to acquire a #2 SP, but that's not going to happen unfortunately.

I'd be thrilled with Darvish OR Fielder. I'm pulling for both (and re-upping Kelly Johnson).

I would like to see a trade for Votto, if Fielder looks too pricy (25+ per season).
As for pitchers, I would like some guys with proven consistent performance out of the pen like Matt Capps and J.C. Romero. I don't think what you would have to pay Bell or Papelbon would be worth it.
We might as well re-sign Johnson and FF.

Darvish, Fielder, and some help in the pen. And re-sign Johnson.

Do you honestly think that we'll have any real shot at CC Sabathia and that we would be willing to sign Jose Reyes to 100+ contract with Hecherevia in Triple A?

We should be in on CJ Wilson. He'll have the Yanks and Red Sox after him, but I have to think one of them whips out their dicks for Prince Fielder or Pujols or they take 1 each. Wilson seems legit to me

I think we have as much of a shot at CC as we do Pujols.

If the team could find a way to sign Darvish and then trade for Votto, that would be the best blend of realistic and ideal out there as far as acquiring impact calibre talent (depending on how serious Rogers is about spending and how serious Cincy is about trading Votto).
Who do I want to see? Sabathia and Pujols. But that ain't happening.

Re: Who Do You Want To See in a Jays Uniform Next Season?
I would sell my soul for Fielder or Pojuls or Reyes or CJ Wilson here in Toronto next year. Either one would be a god send at this point and time. If St Louis or Milwaukee win the World Series you can cross either off our list since I don't think they would move.
I think that Darvish is among the most realistic of the bunch, Toronto would be a great place for him since we are among the best multicultural cities in the world and I feel like he might love the city. I doubt we go after Pappledouche I bet he resigns with Boston. Either way I feel like we get 1 big FA and make some trades (Snider/Lind/Thames/prospects) for pitching help

What about Carlos Beltran?
I dunno what kind of deal he'll be looking for, but for 3-4 years he'd look good in left, and would free us up to trade Thames/Snider for some pitching help.

I like Andre Ethier of the Dodgers hes consistent hes going into his age 30 season gets on base at a very good clip should be able to play good D in LF and should hit some more HR's moving into the AL east. Don't think he would cost a ton ether the Dodgers need to shed some salary to extend Matt Kemp. He's going into his final year of ARB so signing him to a 2+2 style contract at around 12-13-15-15 sounds reasonable for both sides.

Hahahaha
Yanks and Sox won't go after Pujols or Fielder. Sox have Gonzalez and Yanks have Tex already. Gonzo and Tex wouldn't be happy to play DH in their prime and of course Fielder or Pujols wouldn't sign to be a DH themselves.
