I'm not a fan of the Rangers at all but I don't think Cruz can be stopped this post season. I think the Rangers will take it in 6

It is always nice to see former Jays doing well.

Napoli with the HR ties it at 2.

Can we trade for Napoli in the offseason?

First world series game I've watched in a couple years (thanks, Leafs). Good game, but I just can not get into it. Part of it is my hating the Cards, but it's bigger than that. I really don't love baseball at its core.

I highly doubt he retains his level of play.

well after this season, it would take much more than just Frank Francisco to get Napoli back....... Texas would rape Toronto again, cause I doubt Napoli does the same act again.

--------------

man he'd look good on the Jays 1B spot last season, eh.... thats why he wanted out too. He didnt want to be full time DH.

Just didn't sound like an interesting match up and I never really gave it a chance.

I have watched on the highlights and what not, just wouldn't want to sit through a whole game.

He doesn't have to retain his level of play to be far better than the players we're throwing out on the field.

And the former Jays relievers blow the game for STL, can we say now that AA won the Colby trade yet?

If Rasmus hits .225 and has a .688 ops again(AL and NL combined total) then no we can't. We have to wait until next season to fully gauge the trade.

It was funny seeing Dotel pulled because hes not trusted to intentionally walk someone though.

Would the Jays have made the playoffs if we kept Napoli?

How pissed are the Angels right now? Not only did they end up taking Vernon Wells and his contract, but they also gave up on Napoli only for the Jays to spin him to one of LAA's divsion rivals almost immediately. Then Napoli explodes in Texas.

Regardless, It is better to see players we trade away succeed, that way other teams won't be afraid to trade with AA in the future. Throw in a bad trade every once in a while to make people forget the Escobar and Morrow and Rasmus deals that happened in between.
