The 3 year deal isn't super bad. Depending on the vesting, the fourth year could be killer. I'm semi happy we stayed away from this.

I would rather this deal than Papelbon's though.

Yeah, I think we dodged a bullet with this. I really didn't see Bell having a positive impact in the skydome.

I would of actually liked to see a gamble on Heath Bell. Small risk, and a short term deal. The vesting option really kills this deal though, 3 years is about right though.
