Wow if true. Nothing official yet as Braun has appealed the decision, but if this is true, the MVP decision is going to look bad.

If Prince doesn't get re-signed by the Brewers, which is highly very likely, it's time to tank.

Maybe now the writers will stop blindly saying the "Steroid Era" is over. Ryan Braun certainly isn't the only elite hitter using PEDs, he's just the one that got caught.

Yeah, that makes no sense for two reasons.

#1. The Brewers don't have the money to re-sign Fielder. That hasn't changed.

#2. The Jays are supposed to tank if they don't sign Fielder? Why?

Couldn't believe what I was reading when mlbtraderumors.com first reported it. It's something like this which makes me lose interest in baseball and head back to basketball and track and field. I wonder this all plays out..
Want: Trae Young, Michael Porter Jr., DeAndre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr, Marvin Bagley III, Mohamad Bamba, Shai Gilgeous- Alexander, Elie Okobo, Jevon Carter

Yeah, because basketball players and track and field athletes aren't using PEDs either.

I think he means the Brewers should tank?

I think he's saying the Brewer's should tank. Writers certainly haven't given up on the steroid era if some of the crap written about Bautista is to be believed. Maybe next time they'll throw some **** at the right player and get lucky.

There's no such thing as tanking in baseball, it's not close to being as advantageous as basketball. But yeah, they will be losing a hell of a lot of games if it's held up.

Wish we could make a play for Greinke and extend him, but he might be unwilling to pitch in the AL East.

Ah, I thought he was referring to the Jays with that statement.

Doubt the Brewers tank (they still have a lot of talent and Braun will only be out for 1/3 of the season), but if they decide to give up on contending in 2012, the Jays should probably try to trade for Greinke or Marcum.

I guess with the way that division is set-up right now, no Pujols / and possibly no Fielder (unless he goes to the Cubs). It's still possible for Milwaukee to be competitive, but highly unlikely without Braun for 1/3 of the season. It would not surprise me if the team goes on a fire sale if they get to a bad start.

**** ****. I know Randle's right, but that doesn't mean it's disheartening to see the best in the game still get caught doing this ****.

I'm not saying they should or even that they can, but the only way you'll see guys like this end is if teams start voiding contracts when they're caught. The suspensions are rough, but obviously not rough enough.

Who cares? We all know that half the league is juicing. PEDs have become a part of the sport. Nearly every star player gets booked eventually.

And boom goes the dynamite.

I say retract his MVP and give it to Kemp if he isn't cleared.

As if Prince leaving wasn't enough, now Brewer fans have to deal with this.

The idea of him using was never ludicrous. His being singled out by the media for absolutely no reason (Damien Cox and ESPN, among others) was.
