This offseason seems to have produced so many rumours and people who have "sources", especially over Twitter.
Maybe we can post them all in one area first. If any turn out to be true, it can have its own thread.
This can be a place where we would post about this Votto stuff that Rosenthal tweeted.
Or the 3 million sources who said Darvish was for sure coming here.

The latest one is from this guy who just created a twitter account yesterday. He says he works for the Rogers Centre and has ins with people who work with AA. For some reason Rosenthal has been speaking and listening to him, so this is the only reason it has any legs.

yeh i saw that as well, and also saw the tweets that said he was "nhl insider".. lots of fake rumours out there.

What trade or free agent signing rumor has gone around that was jays related and actually happened? Can't think of any other than during the Halladay trade.

Yeah, it's a bit discouraging to find out people just make ish up, or pass other people's stuff along as their own (separately sourced, of course) info. And I thought Facebook was a waste of time.

some other people are saying McGuire and low level prospect for gavin. Im almost sure this is another made up rumor. They are just trying to get attention

Sounds like Deck started to take is serious and now he's sick of the rumor. It isn't happening according to him.
