Seattle getting Noesi too is nice; but they're also supposedly giving up Campos who is one of their best prospects and a kid with huge upside...deal still looks stupid to me.

Wow this is a really good deal for Cashman to make. Montero is going to be a good hitter, but Pineda is a young potential #1 starter.

it would have cost jays lawrie if seattle is looking for a high upside mlb ready hitter. So I don't think jays were much of a fit. But still Yankees improved big time.

Also seattle is now out of the fielder sweepstakes unless they have soured on Smoak. So there is still a slight ray of hope for jays fans.

Fantastic trade for New York. Hard to understand why Seattle values a DH so much. The Yankees can now go easily get a player to DH who would produce basically what Montero would have.
