OT: Dodgers' bidding has gone north of $1.2 bln

Reports today are that the bidding on the Dodgers (including Dodgers Stadium) has gone above $1.2 billion. It's an auction and bidding continues, so the final price could be a bit higher.
This is 50% above the 2011 Forbes valuation for the Dodgers.
Bet the beancounters at Rogers are celebrating.
Mark Cuban has dropped out of the bidding. Too rich for his blood.

This has nothing to do with the Blue Jays but you still insist on taking shots at Rogers.

Absolutely. If major league teams as a rule are about to get a big valuation boost, then it benefits the books of Rogers just as much as any other team. Yes they can spend more. /thread.
