Why sign Ramirez when there is guy like Damon out there??

Yeah, this is why I didn't get my hopes up about signing Manny.

Right now, it's looking like another year of Lind hacking away against lefties.

What about Damon? Im a huge fan of his. A minor league contract wouldn't hurt.

He put up the same fWAR as Edwin last year playing the same position. He is really like an 8 year older version of Edwin with more accolades.

If you use standard regression statistics to predict both players for next season, Edwin > Damon.
