Many of you might not care, many of you may not remember, but the expos were awesome and it's a shame they were let go. Here is a documentary that never aired in Canada in 2010 about the team.

Thanks for posting.
I was a diehard Expos fan. Though I support the Jays now, I've never been as passionate about them as I was the Expos.

Around 1995, I got sick of the Jays and rooted for the Expos for a couple months. They were actually a very fun team.

Thanks for sharing! Grew up a Jays fan and never focused much on the Expos. I never knew the '94 team was THAT good.

Thanks for posting really is to bad what happened to them, amazing how a franchise can be so affected by the smallest of margins. Imagine where the Jays would be had they not won the Series in 92/93 would they still be in Toronto?

Just from the 1st minute, stereotypical Quebecois, me first, selfishness.

I knew the Expos were good, but I didn't know they were that good. I remember they had Randy Johnson too at one point, very good video. Too bad they aren't around no more.

Growing up as a baseball obsessed French kid in Ontario, I was a big fan of both teams. I suppose, if I was really pressed, I would have picked the Jays over the Expos, though. Still, my love for the Expos was undeniable and watching this was really painful.
As a kid, my baseball team was selected for a "sports exchange" where a peewee team from Montreal would visit our small town for a week, we'd play a game and then our team would go to Montreal for a week and get to play a game in Olympic Stadium. The program was sponsored by Charles Bronfman and he sent us a personalized message, which was pretty cool. We got to meet a couple players from the team before playing our game and afterwards, we got to catch an Expos game (we also met the team president/gm at the time). We also did a ton of other organized activities. It's still probably one of the most memorable experiences of my life and I feel like I owe a debt of gratitude to the Expos because their existence made it happen.

Very neat story Mike, thanks for sharing I found it very interesting!
It's amazing what a profound effect professional athletes can have on kids, memories that last a lifetime. I hope the Blue Jays do similar events.
