Thoughts on new baseball sportsnet broadcast features?

New scoreboard graphics, etc.

Also a three man booth with Buck/Tabler and Pat Hentegan. Hope they keep this three man team for the season.

i like pat hentegan, very knowledgeable and asks interesting questions. but i dont think he'll be a regular. he is taking a lesser role with the ball club to spend more time at home with his family.

Not a fan of the scoreboard at the bottom of the screen. I will get used to it, though.

I think it may move to the top during the regular season.

They had a really low camera angle today that likely forces them to put it at the bottom of the screen... At least I hope.

The misspelling of Hentgen in this thread is bothersome.

That's what I thought too. Hopefully it will go back to the top once the regular season starts.

It's okay to hate Buck but don't EVER ask for Jamie back!

I like the look of the graphics, but it should be at the top and not at the bottom. I guess I'll get used to it either way.

tabbie = leo rautins.

bucks play-by-play is getting better and rather see him stay.

as for the graphics, anyone miss the small box score instead of this long-ass bar?

Did they show the speed of the pitches? I don't think they did.

With the new 16:9 format, I'm surprised not to see more graphic along the side of the screen. On some wide angle shots, its hard for the eyes to process the amount of information that a widescreen view delivers.

Agreed. Jamie was like a 70 year-old man trapped in a 15 year-olds body. I always felt like he was the perfect fit if you wanted someone who appealed to the 'retirement home' demographic...and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
