Well if Cito ruined Snider then he made Bautista. I don't think theres much to this Cito
said nice things about Snider to the media and Snider was one of the few Jays to wear
a Cito mustache his last home game as a Blue Jay.

Snider was more productive uner Cito then Farell and the plan was to give him 500 ABs+
last year but he went in one of those funks where he couldn't get out of and his
play became detrimental to the team so they had to send him down again and he didn't
exactly set the minors on fire to put it nicely.

The problem with Snider is him getting in those tail spins offensivley that seem to affect
him defensivley where he'll start making some head scratching errors.

How did Cito Gaston ruin him? The Jays should have left Snider in the minors to start 2009.

This is the kind of crap you have to deal with when bringing up a player too early to the big show.

I still have faith in him.

I would agree with this if Cito was still here "ruining" him. We have different management now and he still can't hit so... unless he has a really fragile psyche he should have recovered mentally by now lol.

Cito was always results orientated towards young players. You always had to earn the right to play under him. Guys like Hentgen, Delgado, Sprague, Olerud all prospered under him. But at the same time he didn't have much patience for guys like David Wells and Derek Bell even though they became future all-stars.

Not surprised to read that from djf since they've always hated Cito and have a major hard on for Snider.

Fatt Stairs probably has some sour grapes himself.
