Jays acquire Ryota Igarashi

Igarashi had an 8.68 ERA in nine games with the Pirates during spring training.

He was 4-1 with one save and a 4.66 ERA in 45 relief appearances last year for the Mets.


This is another one of those deals where AA tries to prove to the rest of the league that he can make useless trades like everyone else.

Another power strikeout pitcher that can't command his pitches. We just have him in AAA in case he learns how to command the ball.

AAA arm hes done quite well at that level gotta try and win at LV so other AAA teams will want the Jays farm rights.
