All you Nay-sayers, Wait until the End of the Month.

If you want to play Cassandra, wait until the end of the month.

It seems many of you have the unnatural ability to see into the future and are predicting a losing season for the Jays, a terrible bullpen, global warming, the return of Rosie O'Donnell, and nude beaches along the Scarborough Bluffs (what?!).

I, a humble fan with no ability to see past the end of my nose, ask that you wait until the end of the month before reaching such conclusions, particularly during series threads (e.g. Orioles, last week).

After all, the season has 162 games. Wait a little.

I wonder if there's somebody in the Orioles forum saying the same thing!

I - and a bunch of highly qualified scientists - predict the so-called "global warming" (although the Arctic ice melt will impair the Gulf Stream, resulting in a net cooling of European temperatures).

I also was very leery of the Jays SP rotation. I may be wrong.

Is that a bad thing? Are you surprised? I wouldn't want to be a part of a forum that blindly celebrates short-term success with no speculation on this season's outlook. Can you imagine a place like that? People just gathering on the internet to high-five each other after a win and then logging off and going to bed. Talk about utopia!

Has the Blue Jays forum really sunk this low to need threads like this?

Just let people enjoy the season as they see fit. We don't need someone to tell us all how to think.
