If we can't do anything against the Mariners, this team's just hopeless.

Should be a sweep, but for who?

I would say we would hit Millwood with ease...but we didn't hit Matusz.

We used to hit Millwood well... I also would think that'd be a W, and Vargas isn't a great pitcher, but if memory serves me correctly, I think he beat us twice last year so who knows there... I like our chances when it's Romero against Beaven. Two outta 3 seems pretty attainable.

At least we don't have to face King Felix. Although we are making pitchers like Matusz look like Cy Young winners so maybe facing an actual winner would reverse the trend??????

Well the series threads should be back to normal now.

4 of our wins have come off of Royals and 5 of our losses have come off of the Orioles.

To take a page out of the late Patrice O'Neal...."It’s all been very Christian Slater-ish. He sucks, but he’s good, but he sucks at the same time.”

IMO, a series win is must. A sweep would be better though.

Is it safe to return to this forum yet? Anyway hopefully they can get going against the Mariners starters. Yunel and Rasmus need to get some bounces both of them have been remarkably unlucky so far.

Rasmus has been unlucky. Escobar has just plain sucked.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Esco isn't walking as much as he should be but hes not striking out any more than usual, nothing about his batted ball suggests major regression other than the 64% ground balls. That being said hes still hitting line drives at the same clip as last year ether way not worthy of a .243 BABIP looks unlucky to me.

He's only been cleanup when we face lefties mostly but both Lind and EE have some short term success against Beavan.

i thought i remember Farrell saying that EE will be the short-term clean-up hitter for the time being.. this was a few days ago.. maybe he just meant for lefties i guess.

I can't wait until we start playing teams like BOS, NYY, TB! The last 3 series (KC, BAL, SEA) are boring teams to watch, in my opinion.
