Time to shuffle up the lineup - Post yours!

The stagnant offense is getting painful to watch. I'm shocked Farrel hasn't rearranged the lineup more to try and get things going. With Escobar, Bautista, and Lind all struggling, how can he keep all three of them in the top 4?
Anyway, here's what I'd do, if given the chance
Lawrie (R) (Does not walk enough for leadoff but great hustle and 4th higest OBP on team)
KJ (L) (His 15 walks make him a fine choice to stay here. Must cut down on team high 26 SOs)
Bautista (R) (Earned his right to be here. Hopefully breaks through slump soon)
EE (R) (Only Farrel wouldn't have him hitting here already)
Thames (L) (Has been best hitter on team after EE. Helps strengthen middle of lineup)
Escobar (R) (Seems like a bit of a fragile ego. Wouldn't want to move him down too far.)
Snider (or Lind) (L) (Hopefully once healthy he is up. Force him to earn a higher spot.)
JPA (R) (With a .513 OPS, only lack of speed keeps him from hitting 9th)
Rasmus (L) (Seems like a guy who could use less pressure. Playing better than his stats)

Good idea for a thread.
KJ - He gets on base lots. I don't believe you need "speed" in the leadoff spot.
Lawrie - He gets on base a lot and is hard to double up. Has some pop.
EE - He has proven he is a great hitter and for the time being should be given the 3 spot.
Bautista - I always pictured him as a .260 hitter with crazy OBP and a great HR hitter.
Thames - Hits the ball hard lots and I think will finish with a lot of HR's. Decent on base.
Escobar - Good hitter still, should be given a lower spot in the order to work out of this slump
Colby - Hits the ball hard lots. I would keep him here even if he does well. No pressure.
Cooper - Get on base lots, will not drive anybody in really.
D'Arnaud - Would wOBA higher than JPA even currently, hits the ball hard, great defensively.

Lawrie has to much power and he doesn't walk enough.

Lind shouldn't play against lefties. He also shouldn't be hitting cleanup at all against any pitcher. That's about all I'd change, though, we're only 20+ games into the season.

Agreed, Lind is a blackhole in the lineup right now, at the very least swap him with EE.

Agree with Schad's lineup card. Having three right handed bats against the lefties I really like as well.

Today's actual lineup is pretty good, actually, except for benching Rasmus (argh) and Encarnacion at 1B... but he's hitting cleanup! FINALLY!
Johnson 2B
Escobar SS
Bautista RF
Encarnacion 1B
Francisco DH
Lawrie 3B
Thames LF
Arencibia C
Davis CF
I'd rather Lawrie hit behind Edwin, I think, but this should be an interesting game.

It's 100% opinion and that is yours. Not necessarily right or wrong but you can't insinuate that others are wrong for switching it up more than you.

Vs. Right Handed Pitching
Johnson, Lawrie, Bautista, Encarnacion, Thames, Rasmus, Escobar, Lind, Arencibia.
Vs. Left Handed Pitching
Johnson, Lawrie, Bautista, Encarnacion, Escobar, Rasmus, Arencibia, Thames, Davis.
John Farrell even said it himself that it takes 100ABs for a team to access it's hitters and adjust from there. Johnson's clearly our best on base guy so far this season if you don't factor Bautista. Escobar doesn't even have an OBP above .300. I'd follow that up by Lawrie who infuses speed and power ahead of Bautista which would offset Johnson's lack of stolen bases. Bautista batting 3rd obviously. Encarnacion at cleanup providing some protection for Bautista. Thames, Rasmus, Escobar, Lind, Arencibia in that order in terms of their productivity.
Against left handers, I'd shift Rasmus to the 6th spot right behind Escobar and followed up by Arencibia even though Rasmus is a left handed bat because he's capable of hitting against left handed batters. Then I'd follow those guys with Thames and Davis providing SB at the bottom of the order against left handers. Haha no way I'd start Lind against a left handed hitter.

1. Johnson
2. Escobar
3. Bautista
4. EE
5. Rasmus
6. Lawrie
7. Thames
8. Lind
9. JPA
EDIT: Funny how close my lineup is to Farrell's. All I have to do is switch Rasmus and Thames.
