Hard to know what to expect with our team, but we certainly have two good pitchers going, it's good to be home again and TB is a good squad, so I hope we're very competative and either split or sweep the mini series.

I hate facing Price, his career #'s are fantastic VS us! So we better win Game # 1 with Morrow on the mound.

Very got the better pitchers going in, but this will be a tough 2 gamer. Still, we could really use a sweep, especially with how the AL East has been going. *fingers crossed*

Gonna be a tough week with the Rays/Yanks/Mets all in town. Let's hope for a good start to things tonight.

Price is going to eat us alive, as usual. :(

Maybe if I say it, the opposite will happen...

Well he's on a red-hot 1-for-12 streak (a single) with three strikeouts so I guess Farrell just figured we need a bat like that in the middle of the lineup.

But seriously, I haven't seen the #s but maybe he hits Niemann well? I just hope the move isn't going to last.

i pray that this is only because of his individual numbers vs. niemann, and not because farrell thinks he has magically turned into a capable major league hitter, let alone clean-up hitter, overnight

lind vs. niemann in 28 AB

.464/.531/.929/1.460 w/ 3 jacks and 9 rbi

still would much rather have him in the bottom of the order, and fully expecting these numbers to backfire into yet another listless night at the dish for the boy lindy

If Farrell felt it necessary to drop Lind in the order five days ago, what's changed since then? How has Lind redeemed himself?

Those SSS numbers against Niemann are the only thing that pseudo-justifies Farrell moving Lind back up in the order, but even then... SMH. Lind is not good, Tampa is, and we need wins, not playing sideways numbers or worse, giving a crap about Lind's confidence.
