Drabek vs. Strasburg. Fantastic. The other two games are definitely winnable though.

Morrow v. E-Jax should be a good game.

I'm going out on a limb here and calling for Drabek to have a monster bounce back game. Jays sweep the series.

We're due for a sweep. And thankfully we're at home so our pitchers don't have to hit.

I'm looking forward to a pitcher's duel tomorrow as I have both SPs on my fantasy team.

I think the Jays are going to completely light-up Jackson tmr, and to a lesser extent Wang. Strasburg...well...that's a different story completely.
2 of 3, w/ the Jays scoring 13+ runs combined over the first two games. BOOK IT!

I'll take that deal. As much as I don't like interleague play, the Nats are a good team that I'm quite interested in seeing. They're also hot right now, after just sweeping the Red Sox, so I'd be very happy with 2 of 3.

Alvarez against Wang.
The first starter to strike out a batter wins. That could take a while.

Nats fan here, you're more than welcome to come over our board as well. I'm trying to hard to get that board started up now that the team is playing good ball. Jackson has been decent for us, inconsistent at times, has one good start, then its followed by a bad one. He also doesn't get run support, Nats don't score a ton of runs, so even though he's 2-3, he could easily have 3 or 4 more wins. Should be a fun series to watch though.

I think you have to blame the Jays, not the schedulers, for the midweek midday SS start as it's not a getaway day for either team (both have Thurs off). I'm guessing it's for school groups (kids are still in school right?), but it sucks that I won't get to watch it.
Also, we're getting to a pretty crucial time of the year where the Jays need to start separating from the .500 mark If we want the second half to get interesting. IMO the Jays need a sustained quality run into the ASB starting pretty much now. 10 games over by the ASB means 17-9 'til then, which is one game less than winning every remaining series. I'm hoping the Jays find an extra gear for the next month starting with the Nats.
And we're getting pretty lucky with these pitching matchups too, 'cause WAS can really pitch. Detwiler must've been pretty awful lately (his numbers don't look awful) to get demoted for Wang. I know if I had a sub 4 ERA coming out of my youngish 5th starter, I'd probably keep rolling him out there for the time being, but it's not like I see a bunch of Nats games, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume there's a good reason.

Nothing about the Jays' past suggests they'll separate from .500 by the All Star Break. 45-47 last season, 45-44 in 2010, 44-46 in 2009, 47-48 in 2008, 43-44 in 2007. Even with our stellar run differential, we will continue winning some games by a large margin, but losing close ones thanks to CoCo and Farrell being dumb.
