Interested clubs are aware Rodriguez could have two years and $26 million left on his contract beyond this year, if he reaches the performance bonuses necessary to trigger the club option for 2014. Rodriguez, 6-5 with a 3.29 ERA this season, has made 30 or more starts in each of the past three years.

Either AA has an obsession with players he's liked in the past or the media is just lazy, I can't tell anymore.

my question is clear.... WHY? :-?

i dont understand how an average pitcher like Wandy Rodriguez gets so much attaention from so many MLB teams. I believe its not the fist time either, and only reason he hasent been delt yet is cause Houston has a huge asking price on him.

why is Wandy so valuble?

i dont get it

Between this rumor and the Guthrie rumor it would seem like AA is looking for nothing more than an inning eater. I'd prefer Wandy over Guthrie though.

I would be very surprised if AA took on that contract. And I don't surprise easily.

He makes too much in 2013 as it is, and I believe 2014 becomes a player option if he is traded.
