What, a series with an Aaron Laffey kickoff and no ST?

It's an 8:10p start tonight

A. Laffey 0-0, 2.14 ERA vs J. Peavy 6-5, 2.96 ERA

Saturday - 4:10

Sunday - 2: 10

Game 2: Romero vs Floyd
Game 3: Cecil vs TBA

It's so depressing to see three Jo-Jo Reyeses pitching against the Sox.

Right now, you'd probably rate them Laffey, Cecil, Romero in that order given recent performances. That's frickin sad.

You've got to be careful with Dunner. Keep it on the outer half.

Got to love having Lind have his confidence back. Great to see that opposite field power. The mark of a good hitter :)

Man, if a good second half for Lind leads to him being an every day player again next year I am not OK with it.

Or the mark of slow bat speed.

This.

You beat me to it, Tyrone.

I think, however, he will be traded if his second half goes well.

Ha, spoken like a true blue jay (Toronto) fan... I don't have the answer to why Lind has gone into such prolonged struggles at times, but ever since this guy first came up to the bigs his calling card was always his ability to hit... His offensive "potential" shouldn't really be questioned. Why he has gone into such awful stretches? I don't know, overthinks himself I think. But there's no doubt in my mind that he has the ability to once again be a good hitter... whether he realizes it or not is up for debate however...
