Catching depth for the minors because we're missing d'Arnaud, Jiminez, and Gomes has to back up Mathis with Arencibia out. Nothing more than that.

Well, you can add that to the list of awesome names AA has collected in his tenure. I remember there being a legitimate thread on signing Merkin Valdez solely based on the fact that his name was Merkin
