Game 1: Freddy Garcia vs Ricky Romero
Friday, August 10, 7:07 PM ET
Romero made good progress in his last outing against the A's. Taking the mound in the pitcher-friendly confines of the Coliseum, the left-hander allowed one run over seven innings, helping save a bullpen taxed by a 15-inning game the night before.

Game 2: Ivan Nova vs Aaron Laffey
Saturday, August 11, 1:07 PM ET
Laffey surrendered four runs on six hits while striking out four during his last start against the A's. It was enough to earn him his third win of the year and marked the fifth time in eight starts he has thrown at least six frames.

Game 3: Phil Hughes vs J.A. Happ
Sunday, August 12, 1:07 PM ET
Happ allowed four runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings during his first start for Toronto on Tuesday. He spent the previous three weeks in the bullpen and was limited to 82 pitches but should be able to go deeper against the Yankees.

Why on earth does Farrell insist Escobar hit clean-up with this line-up? Cooper would be better, or EE with Cooper hitting third.

Snider's doing well in PIT while Gose can't even hit one in the outfield.

Why is Davis playing so much? The team is out of it. If they insist on bringing Gose and Sierra up when they are not ready, then at least have the decency to play them.

Wish we had a player like Snider.

No use beating a dead horse my friend. What's done is done. AA didn't like Snider and that's that. By the way Snider has two hits tonight including a 3 run dinger. Batting .355 for the Pirates.
