"It became apparent at our meeting that he needed another day," Jays manager John Farrell told reporters on Friday afternoon.

That doesn't sound good.

Prime Time Sports is trying to say Escobar is still upset and needs another day off.

With the controversy surrounding him, the fact that the Jays are awful regardless (not that Escobar's bat has done much to change that this season), and the fact that it doesn't hurt to give Hech more playing time to get a better idea of where he's at, there's no reason not to just sit him for the rest of the season.

The second i flipped on the tv and turned to the Jays game I saw Molina jack one out of the park. I turned the channel immediately after.

Well at least the media got jerked around by Yunel going in for a pinch hit. And from what I understand there was zero fan reaction in Tampa for Yunel's heinous act. lol Maybe Bob McCown punched a hole in his new $15,000 projection screen.

They have 1 left handed hitter in their lineup and we warm Cecil for long relief.

Edit: Forgot about Joyce, ok they have 2 left handed hitters, but please don't let Cecil pitch.

Lincoln is horrible. Delabar trade was good from the beginning while the Snider has sucked from the beginning.

Well if it's any comfort at all, Snider's been pretty horrible in Pittsburgh as well. .667 OPS and he's been pinch hitting in quite a few games.
