Raps in 4... oops wrong board

I picked Detriot in 6, Detriot has stronger pitching and offense. On paper Detriot should win, but who knows what Scutaro or someone else from Giants would do to step up

DET in 4 or 5! I think SF is going to have trouble scoring runs VS that fantastic pitching staff!

I want San Fran to win it, but really, I see the Tigers taking it in 6. Hopefully im wrong!

That world series retrospective video dealy was a thing of freaking beauty.

Detroit has stronger starting pitching, although not by much. Obviously Verlander is the best in baseball, but Matt Cain is no slouch, even if he hasn't been fantastic in the postseason. And as good as Fister, Sanchez and Scherzer have been in the post season, the lineups they have faced were not nearly as good as the competition that the Giants' pitchers have faced. Not to mention they're strikeout pitchers facing a lineup that strikes out the least in baseball.

I would also say Detroit has a slight edge on offense, although not as much as many people probably think (The Tigers barely scored more runs than the Jays this year... Think about the lineups the Jays were putting together for the last two and a half months of the season)

And then defensively and in the bullpen you have a pretty significant edge for the Giants.

Should be a GREAT series. I like the Giants in 6.

The Giants sure got a bunch of lucky breaks last night in the game.
Mix that with Sandoval crushing and Verlander looking human and you get a Giants win.

I don't expect this to continue all series. I still see Detroit pulling this out in 6 games.
