Former centre fielder Lloyd Moseby addressed coaches on the 200 Level: "It's great that the team payroll is $120 million, but what everyone doesn't realize is that only $100 million is Rogers money. Paul Beeston and Alex phoned me to borrow the other $20 million ... I gave it to them interest free, they're like family."

I love that rogers spent, but are they that stingy with money they had to borrow it from Lloyd Moseby? And how does Lloyd Moseby have that much money, let alone that much to give away interest free?

obviously a joke, Moseby doesn't have 20 million to give away interest free and that amount is less than a rounding error for Rogers.

If I had replied to all those emails, I'd be a multi-billionaire by now

It's clearly a joke, the delivery likely got lost in print. Or it was never funny to begin with.
