The starting pitching has to finally show up this series. Thankfully we miss Pettitte, but those first 3 matchups don't exactly look great for us.

i like the matchups in games 2 and 4. game 1 is the most important one to me. have the jays scored 5 runs in consecutive games yet?

I really hope today was a wakeup game and things turn around... but last time I thought that was the comeback against Detroit. We all know how they came out the game after that :(

I think the pitching is going to have to be much stronger for this offense to turn back around. A couple of real strong starts this series and I think the offense starts to shape up. If they can just get a couple of early leads, they all seem to settle the hell down.

The stat of the day - Again the Jays are 6-0 when scoring 5 or more runs..

They'll likely need 5 or more with Buehrle pitching tonight.

Weird thing happened. I had a dream about the Blue Jays winning 4 straight games. Getting themselves back to .500. Also Kawasaki was MVP. :-?

That's so unrealistic. Everyone knows the Jays can't win 4 straight.

Adam Lind to the paternity list, so of course we decide to hurt the bench depth and go with a 8th reliever in Lincoln.

Don't we still have a roster spot after Ortiz getting his ass DFAd?

With Lind out, I don't like our chances.
