Injuries are the story of his career and why the Jays have to be reluctant to give him big money. Hope it doesn't become serious.

Aaron Laffey will start, then, I'm sure. At least the current Yankees are worse vs. LHP than RHP.

Might as well make it 9-16. Check out the Saturday matchup, it's much worse.

The team or Johnson? I guess it doesn't really matter at this point.

Romero hasn't even started a game in Dunedin yet. He's going nowhere. If Johnson can't go, there is no option better or more realistic than Laffey.

It is. Baseball seasons aren't decided after three weeks of play. If they were, the Jays would have made the playoffs quite often over the last 20 years.

About time some guys go down with injuries. Good way to explain away this debacle so far.

What's going on with him? Why has he not even started?

John Gibbons says Johnson will throw on the side early next week and start a few days later "unless something changes."

Johnson getting moved up in the rotation?

No. He's set to start on Thursday if he's healthy enough to do so. With the off day, though, they could always decide to skip him or push him back a few days.
