When JR and BL return, and EE playing well at 3B, would you use the DH as a platoon to rest players?

BL can play 2B, when EE, and AL takes the field...EB(2B/OF), RD(OF), MI(2B/3B), MD(3B/2B) one of them start when giving someone a day off on the field. We could reduce the bullpen from 8 to 7, carry an extra bench player.

w/r/t the poll question, I would consider it before Lawrie comes back depending on matchups/Melky's health, but not after.

The Orioles get to face the Dickey,Wang,Johnson brigade.

But in all seriousness, I know Wang has been okay but shouldn't the Jays consider skipping his start with the off day?

In the same way that Ramon Ortiz is a Cy Young candidate.

I'm thinking the same here. 2 out of 3.

A sweep would be pretty sweet!!

A sweep would be great to keep the streak going but this is the kind of series you can live with 2 out of 3. Whereas earlier, due to the horrendous start, 2 out of 3 wasn't the best, it was okay but from that far behind you weren't catching up.

More important is seeing Dickey and Johnson continue to pitch well instead of having one of their stinkers they've been having following up good performances.

F that.

Actually, while I try to be a rational child of the Enlightenment, I still think think it's bad luck to even utter the word "sweep" before a series even starts. Only on the third or fourth game, after winning the previous games, is it safe to do so.

No. Keep him as far away from this team as humanly possible until he's stringing together solid performances for a couple of months. Might entertain that notion in September.

I guess Baltimore last year wasn't a complete mirage. They're still good this year. We really need to pound them. They are annoying.
