It's nice to have some good things to write about Ricky. Early days but if he can become even a respectable rotation pitcher again, it would fill one big hole for the Jays. If it happens, credit his Canadian soccer star girlfriend Kara Lang (the woman who replaced the one who drained his confidence in the first place?), and Chucky the evil doll.

(If Deck McGuire ever gets promoted out of AA, Chucky is tailor made for him - Deck has Chucky bad inning syndrome as bad as anyone... Can give you five or six dominant innings, but can't stand adversity.)

Beat me to it. Read this and kind of laughed at the "Chucky" reference but it clearly has helped him brush off some stuff. He's always been super intense to a fault so pulling back a bit might be the right path.

Still think its funny he's dating Kara Lang.
