We'll find a way to win 2/3 this series.

Jays need to go 7-3 or better on this 10 game homestand

Brett Lawrie hitting 9th and playing 2B with Izturis hitting 6th and playing 3B. Looks like the break did nothing for management's sensibilities.

Izturis has been one of our best hitters the last month though and Lawrie hasn't. Lawrie should stay near the bottom until he hits like he's capable of.

Agreed, although I also agree with Santoki about the whole 2B/3B fiasco. I just don't get it. I feel like it's AA's call more than Gibbons' but who knows what the reasoning is.

Sadly that would only bring them back to .500, realistically, they have to go at least 8-2 which is obviously pretty doubtful

A difference of one game is not going to be a dealbreaker.

I get it, I really do. He's got a new position, so they don't want him to feel burdened by hitting higher in the lineup. But, really, it's silly. Hit him 6th like he should and play him 3B. This is a ridiculous experiment.
