The biggest blunder of AA's tenure...

Post#1 » by dkmo » Mon Jul 22, 2013 1:40 pm

was dumping Napoli to the Rangers.

We would be in a much different situation if he'd have held on to him. And I am sure we would have thrown enough money at him to resign him last off-season.

The curse of J.P. Arenciba. He needs to go asap.

Napoli isn't a great catcher and injuries were catching up to him, so he wouldn't be catching anyways. His biggest blunder was hiring a puppet manager so he would ultimately control all aspects of the manager. This is a reason why Farrell left.

Another blunder is a hiring a rookie hitting coach in a season where we were considered "all in" makes zero sense, despite the high praise of Mottola. Gutting the farm system for a Dickey.

Proposal: Let's sticky a Mike 'Pudge' Napoli appreciation thread at the top of the forum.

Can we just delete this thread? It's pointless.
