You're missing the info from the 2nd game for tomorrows doubleheader.

It will be Buehrle vs Hughes

I don't get why they didn't just play a game tonight instead of a doubleheader. Both teams are in NY.

7 of next 10 against NYY? 4-6 stretch here we come!

Just as long as we don't give up 18 RBIs to Soriano in 3 games. Seriously, what is it about the pinstripes?

How are we going to lose games this time. Can't wait to find out...

These games actually still have value if you want to retain players like Colby.

40 games to go, but the narrative is already set. We can finish 15-25 and we'll still be "contenders" next season.

If we finish 15-25 we lose something like 10M+ in revenue sharing dollars which go directly back into baseball operations (due to new rules). That could virtually pay for Colby's first year of his contract.

We need to finish like 25-15.

Does the roster expand to 26 for the double-header.

If we're going to operate and rely upon revenue sharing to pay for the salaries of core players, then we're already doomed.

Gotta link for those rules? I don't remember there being anything in the 2013 revenue sharing formula that'd deny us such a significant pile of money for finishing below .500.

Lindy seems to have caught a second wind. Guys who can give you .800 OPS in 400ABs or so don't exactly grow on trees. At this point I'd probably bite on the first option year. I don't recall whether they can decide on a year by year basis, or whether all option years must be exercised at once. If the latter, I probably take a pass given just how up and down Lind can be.

Looks like they remembered how to hit today... how refreshing!
