AL East: Who has gotten better? Or worse?

Yankees, Granderson out, Cano out, McCann in, Beltran in, Ellsbury in.
Orioles, Johnson out.
Red Sox, Ellsbury out, Pierzynski in
Rays
Blue Jays
Teams in the AL West are making the go-for-it moves right now, the A's, Mariners and Rangers have invested a lot in up-front improvement.
Is the AL West going to be the new AL East?
Where is the East headed, are the Yankees and Red Sox better or worse. Are the Jays chances slightly better for having done nothing of note so far?

Cant believe the Yankees got Ellsbury. They'll be the cream of the crop in the AL East IMO.

Ells was a horrible deal for the Yanks, they will regret that one in the future. And ill be interested to see how McCann does in NY, and how many games he catches.
The Sawx, my team, will be fine but prob not WS winners again. Lost Ells and Salty (who was outplayed by Ross in the POs anyways). But they are buoyed by the farm team, tons of young pitching depth (Barnes/Owens/Renaud/Webster/DelaRosa/etc..), guys like Bradley Jr/Swihart/Cecchini/etc.., and my fav youngster in their system Xander Bogaerts, I hope they start him at SS this year, please dont sign Drew. Im very excited about the future, and possible trades coming this offseason.
Just to fix it Dagger, Out Salty/Ells/Bailey/Aceves (all of them were on the 40 man last year). In Pierzynski/Mujica. Plus they are at 41 without the Drew deal, if that comes and Pete Abraham seems to think it will. So I think youre likely to see some vet pitchers traded (Peavy/etc..). They are also rumored to be in on Shoo, but I think Cherrington is looking for a vet CF, not another RF unless the plan is to move Victorino over.

What's abundantly clear is that the Jays are headed for yet another 5th place finish.

With our rotation at this point? Absolutely!
