Tony LaCava (Assistant GM)

Post#1 » by number15 » Tue Dec 31, 2013 11:47 pm

AA's right hand man, Tony LaCava. i believe he was in big demand around the MLB not long ago. He turned down the Baltimore job recently and was 2nd in line when AA got the Jays job.

just wondering what his status is around the MLB now. Still a blue chip executive or has he lost some swagger with the Jays failures?

also, just qurious.... if AA is let go. Would you as a fan base atleast, consider Tony LaCava as GM of the Toronto Blue Jays?

Who knows? ESPN hasn't updated their Assistant GM Power Rankings in, like, ever.

Only if the Blue Jays consider him the GM. It'd be really awkward if we're all "hey, Tony LaCava! The new GM!", but they'd hired Gustav Von Moneyball or whatever.
